Soar to Success:

Sturgeon Lake School provides K -12 curriculums with approximately 230 students. The teacher compliment is 14, which is supported by a para-professional staff of 6. The school is located 12 km from Valleyview, 3.5 hours northwest of Edmonton on Highway 43. It is centered in the heart of the beautiful Peace River country.
 

Our Role:

Our role is to support any educational initiatives that result in school improvements and that positively impact on the quality of education provided for students. Supporting the local education authorities, and networking with Aboriginal organizations, Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, the Provincial Ministry of Education, School Boards, and Post Secondary and Secondary / Elementary institutions is an important responsibility of the Education Department.
